A speculative recipe app for preparing food in space
The Concept
A conceptual app for NASA, designed for cooking recipes in space. The app assists astronauts in preparing recipes without gravity and guides them through the steps they need to take to achieve the perfect recipe.
Style Guide
I chose to incorporate the absence of gravity as a central design element. Additionally, I drew inspiration from space itself and FUI design.
The App
The app comes with a smart tray. This tray system is designed to assist astronauts with their meal planning and preparation by using recognition technology to identify the food bags placed on the tray. Once the bags have been identified, the application then generates a customized recipe based on the specific food items selected by the astronaut.
